Brunetti women's coffee club ride

Register now for this women's only event which includes a 20km bike ride, rounded off with coffee and lunch at Brunetti's in Carlton. Women of all ages and abilities are welcome and will be supported during the ride on Saturday 18 October.

SUB Women's Cycle Challenge 08

Women of all ages and abilities are encouraged to ride either the 20km or 55km route along picturesque Beach Rd, with support along the way and food stalls and entertainment at the finish. Entry fee includes a free jersey for the first 1,000 entrants and a showbag for all. On Saturday 6 December.

Learning how to look after your bike is practical and empowering. Sign up for a maintenance course that caters to women or is for women only.

Want to learn how to ride a bike?

If you're a newbie to bike riding, take heart: you're not alone! Many courses teach bike riding to adults in a safe and supported environment. Some courses are for women only. Choose a course for complete beginners, or one for people who already enjoy riding and want to improve their skills.

Riding group - Melbourne (south)

New women’s riding group, rides on Saturday mornings, start and end in Seaford. All women invited, particularly older women who want to build road-riding confidence. For more, contact Pamela on (mob) 0414 596 364.

Women's only MTB skills - Melbourne

Learn to ride a mountain bike uphill, downhill, over logs and through switchbacks. For beginners through to more experienced. At least four women's specific courses will be happening in the next six months. Register your interest now.

MTB skills classes - NSW

Cyclinic in NSW will be running clinics to teach essential MTB skills such as riding, cornering, climbing and descending as well as sharing tips on nutrition and bike equipment. Open to men and women, these classes have a high female presence and cater to abilities ranging from beginners to advanced (split into separate groups). Mums and Dads on bikes - Melbourne
