The 2008 Tour de France Breakfast Series saw hundreds of cycling enthusiasts enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the Tour, with experienced Tour rider Henk Vogels. Henk spoke at all three breakfasts and his amazing (and humourous) stories of the Tour and other cycling events kept the audiences enthralled.
Helen Cocks – mother of Cadel Evans – was a special surprise guest at the Melbourne breakfast. Helen spoke of Cadel’s passion for cycling and his chances in the Tour. Cadel also made a surprise greeting to the audience and to his mum via a video message – an unforgettable moment.
