2008 Great Escapade — last chance to register!

It's been a big month in the world of the Great Escapade! We've ticked over 1000 Rider Entries, made some big changes to Day 1 and met up with our excited community groups who can't wait to welcome us to their towns.
This Friday (29 February 2008) Transport Bookings will close. Next Friday (7 March 2008), Rider Entries close. So if you're still thinking of coming but haven't yet signed up, jump online and enter today.

Changes to Day 1
We've been working hard to plan for the Pre-Ride Camping in Katoomba and the ride from Katoomba to Lithgow. Unfortunately, we have to change the planned first day of riding. Instead, there will be Pre-Ride Camping in Lithgow from 27 March 2008 and an Optional Loop Ride from Lithgow on Saturday 29 March 2008. This wasn't the plan and we are disappointed. However, we believe that the changes that we have put in place will make sure that everyone still has a fantastic start to their Great Escapade.

With over 1000 Riders registered, we know that there will be a great vibe on the Ride and we're going to have an awesome adventure together. If you are still thinking about coming along on the 2008 Great Escapade, don't miss out!
Transport Bookings close on Friday 29 February and all Rider Entries close on Friday 7 March. This is to make sure that we have booked enough luggage trucks to carry your bags, food to fill your belly, a grassy space for your tent, a Ride Guide full of maps and information and Volunteers to point you in the right direction.
