1. Register online –The registration process is quick and easy and the benefits are huge including your own Hands Up! Portal, opportunities to win great prizes, updates on latest news, funding opportunities and events through our Behind the Bike Shed e-newsletter and support from the Ride2School Team.
2. Print the results collection form – available within your Hands Up! portal. Simply print this form to record individual class results and get to us once a month any day.
3. Data collection - Get teachers or student leaders to collect data from a class, a year level or your whole school.
TIP: Hands Up! is a great way to involve students in your school’s active travel program. This makes the process more fun for students and reduces the work for teachers- you’ve got to love that!
4. Compile and submit – Once you have compiled the results from each class enter your schools total results into your portal. Your portal then calculates your schools active travel percentage and displays this for you as a pie or bar graph- the choice is yours.
Hands Up! Collection Sheets
To make collecting your Hands Up! results even easier, here's a way for student leaders to collect whole school results.
When collecting monthly Hands Up! survey results, more and more schools are seeing the value in having their student leaders gather, calculate and enter the survey results.
You can now download an editable Hands Up! whole school collection form for students to use. This enables you to record all results from all classes in one document.
Empower your Junior School Council, SRC, Student Action Team or Bike Club by printing out the Hands Up! whole school collection form and support students to coordinate the monthly survey collection.
