Be part of the Commuter Revolution and host a Community Breakfast

Its that time of year again to plan the celebration of Ride to Work Day 13 October 2010. We’d like to invite you to be part of the commuter revolution and register a community breakfast for Ride to Work Day.

Community Breakfasts assist in celebrating the efforts of individuals in your community who ride their bikes to work, often for the first time.

Why get involved?
Supporting the event enables your council to achieve a deeper engagement within the community and promote your commitment to:
• healthier communities
• environmental awareness and action
• sustainable transport options.

Last years Ride to Work was a great success with over 91,000 participants celebrating the event at 137 community breakfasts across the country. Our registered riders pedalled 700,207km which equates to riding around the world 17 times!

Not only that but 35% of our first time riders who registered for Ride to Work Day 2009 were still riding 5 months after the event and 51% of registrants were riding more often.

Registering for Ride to Work Day 2010 will only take 2 minutes, less time than it takes to brush your teeth! Register online today at ride2work.com.au/register/ Improvements in our registration system mean riders can now RSVP to attend a community breakfast.
