National Schools Challenge

Getting more teachers and students on their bikes

8 cycling hampers valued at over $250 are up for grabs for the school in each State/Territory that has the largest % of teachers riding on Wednesday 13 October.

Getting involved is as easy as 1,2,3...4!

1. Register as a workplace coordinator for your school and complete the additional workplace questions to enter the National Schools Challenge

2. Spread the word amongst your staff and students – put up posters, host a breakfast or run a teachers challenge and encourage them to all ride on the day

3. Encourage all your teachers to register for Ride to Work Day and join your schools team to ensure their ride is counted!

4. Download the Teachers Hands Up! collection form and send it back to us once you've counted the total number of teachers pedalling to school on Ride to Work Day.

The most important tip we can give you is....have fun! Ride to Work Day is a brilliant celebration of riding across Australia. Make sure your school, teachers, parents and of course students are all part of the excitement.

Send us your photo's and stories from Ride to Work Day 2010.

Keep the momentum going!

Remember to check www.ride2school.com.au for ideas on getting the students at your school on their bikes.
