There's no way....

About this page

Here you'll find stories about schools which have traffic barriers that prevent students from walking or riding to school. It might be a 6 lane highway or a narrow road with no shoulders or a bike path that just misses the school gate.

2 very busy roads and a massive roundabout

Boronia Heights Primary School has 580+ students. About 100 of them live on the other side of Mountain Highway. There's a big roundabout, but no signals. Click on the blue signs on the map for more information.

Exiting from the Rail Trail is unsafe

The Moe - Yallourn rail trail is the shortest route between Yallourn North and Moe for bike riders. But the road from the Rail Trail to Yallourn North is narrow, winding and has no shoulder. It's a scary route for students going to or coming home from secondary school in Moe.
