7. Around the Bay 80km School Challenge

The Around the Bay 80km School Challenge is a great way to experience riding with friends and family, navigating around Port Phillip Bay by bike, and joining in one of the greatest riding events in Melbourne for the year.
The first 200 registered participants will receive a FREE Around the Bay in a Day 2008 Event Jersey valed at $95!
You are eligible to enter the 80km School Challenge if you are over 12 years old.
If you are under 18, you will need a ‘supervisor’ to ride with you – ie. someone who is over 18 (a parent or relative, family friend, teacher) and be a registered rider.
The registration process asks you for detailed information, so we’ve written some instructions to help you to sign up.
Registration
The 80km School Challenge costs $75. The Team Manager and supervisoring riders also pay $75, and must be over 18.
2. Fill in Manager’s details
3. In the Team Details section you can decide on:
- a Team name and make decisions as to whether anyone can join your team / or members by invitation only
- whether riders pay for themselves or only the Team Manager can pay for everyone
- whether team members can edit their registration or only the Team Manager
- whether you’d like to register for automatic emails or not
4. The Team Manager then receives a team code in which to advertise to the school and invite riders to join the team.
5. Once the team is set up, riders can start a "New Rider Registration Form" at http://atb.bv.com.au and then type in the team code at the beginning and continue to complete their registration.
Independent Riders and Supervisor
If you are not a member of a team, and will be riding only with your supervisor, your supervisor still needs to enter as a School Team Manager at http://atb.bv.com.au and click on "New School Challenge - Registration Form"
You have to register as a team - you cannot enter the 80km through the "New Rider Registration form" as an individual, unless you have a team code, which your team manager will get once registered.
