2. News from NSW Ride2School
About this page
Bicycle NSW is encouraging students in NSW to write to them about active living. Winning articles will be matched with an article by an industry professional and there are prizes for everyone.
Each month the Bicycle NSW Ride2School program will be setting a topic based around healthy living and/or active transport and would like students at NSW registered schools to write a small article on the topic (anything between 50 and 250 words).
They will then print a winning article in the next newsletter and display all of them on the Bicycle NSW website. A bicycle bag and wrist band will be sent to each student who sends in an article.
The newsletter will also include an article from an industry professional on the same topic. This is a great way to showcase and recognise the work of your students, and involves them in the promotion and development of healthy behaviours – a great way for them to reaffirm their own commitment to healthy living.
