For Bicycle Victoria's Great Rides.
Member Travel Insurance
Travel insurance can no longer be purchased for registered participants on any of the Great Rides. We have successfully negotiated with the Broker to include it as part of Bicycle Victoria Membership, which means that all Members participating on a Great Ride automatically have travel insurance associated (please ensure your Membership expires after the ride however).
All riders can become a Member and receive Travel Insurance (which includes property damage, theft and loss) as well as Personal Injury and Liability anytime they ride. Unfortunately we cannot offer stand alone travel insurance for riders anymore. It includes, loss of deposit refunds and property theft, loss and damage cover.

Bicycle Victoria Members
There are many great reasons to become a Bicycle Victoria Member and here is another one.
Bicycle Victoria Members receive Travel Insurance for Great Rides as part of their Membership. This insurance becomes part of the membership insurance and expires at the same time as your Membership.
To ensure that you have travel insurance on the Event, look at your expiry date of your Bicycle Victoria Membership (on your Membership Card) and ensure it does not expire till after the event, if it does, renew your membership and the insurance will be there to protect you.
You will receive a higher level of benefits for items such as loss of depositis for entry fees as well as property damage, theft or loss on the ride..
Bicycle Victoria Members are also covered by Personal Accident and Public Liability Insurance anytime they are riding, not just on the event which is a great comfort while you are doing your training.
