Price rise for Bicycle Victoria Membership July 2008.

As of 1 July 2008, the Bicycle Victoria membership dues have risen $5. While no one likes a price increase of any size, small increases such as this every year or so, decrease the need for correctional increases on an occasional basis. To keep the same quality we have been providing Bicycle Victoria members over the years we have had to meet the associated costs and as these increase, membership is pushed to do so as well.

Calculators

Target Heart Rate

What is the heart rate zone you should aim for in order to get the best out of your workouts? And what maximum heart rate should you expect during an intense, full body workout?

Energy Expenditure

Use the Energy Expenditure calculator to estimate how much energy you use during a variety of activities, sports and exercises.

Body Mass Index (BMI)

It is a measure of what is considered a healthy weight for height. However, BMI measures can't differentiate between muscle and fat tissue so people who are well-muscled or pregnant may be inaccurately defined as 'overweight'.
