TravelSmart maps

TravelSmart maps are invaluable to bike riders and are available for many municipalities, regional centres and some universities.
TravelSmart maps show off-road bike paths, on-road bike lanes, informal connections and other useful information including the location of public toilets and bike shops. They use a Melway base and are available from Bicycle Victoria all year round.

RACV Bike Assist Cycle Angels

The RACV Bike Assist Cycle Angels graced Melbourne's key cycling routes on National Ride to Work Day, 15 October 2008. In 2007, 40 Bicycle Victoria volunteers donned wings and halos to provide encouragement and lend a hand with bike set-up, punctures and directions.

RACV Bike Assist helps cyclists when their bike cannont be ridden due to accident, mechanical problem or puncture. For $22 per year (or $30 for family membership), RACV members will receive assistance if  they experience difficulties and require roadside assistance while riding their bicycle.
