Over 5000 bikes were reported stolen in 2005/06 and only 5% of these were recovered by the Police.

What's Membership all about?

Membership of Bicycle Victoria gives you support for your bike riding through benefits such as insurance, free legal advice, Ride On magazine and more. As a member you make a valuable contribution to creating change in the bike riding world by getting more people cycling more often and have opportunites to be involved in facility developments that affect you.

Membership fees:

Individual: $105

Concession: $85 (requires proof that a pensioner, fulltime student or unwaged).

Two people: $125 covers a couple or a parent and child living under one roof (as below) 

Family 3+: $135 covers everyone in the family living under one roof, including all children (until they are 21 or 25 if a fulltime student).

All New Members who join and those that renew before the 15 December are automatically entered into the draw for a Vivente Novara or Gofa bike (thanks for our friends at Gemini Bicycles). There is also an opportunity to enter the draw by recommending a friend to join Bicycle Victoria Membership.
