Transport your bike to the start of our event hassle free.
Introduction
To make coming to the HBA Around the Bay in a Day even easier for our interstate Riders, our new Bike transport option is available from the following Allied Express Depot locations;
Adelaide – 30-36 Birralee Rd, Regency Park, 5010. Fullers Ref: UBD 93 J10
Sydney – 2 Unwin St, Rosehill, 2142. Sydney Ref: Pg 253 F20
Brisbane – 57 Ashover Rd, Rocklea, 4106. Brisway Ref: Pg 559 C14
Canberra – Pick up from nominated address (within Canberra CBD area) due to depot unavailability.
Tasmania – Pick up from nominated address due to depot unavailability.
Perth – 24 Miles Rd, Kewdale, 6105. Streetsmart Ref: Pg 375 A9
Important – Your bike must be boxed for transport and the consignment note completed in full prior to dropping it off at the depot. If your bike is not boxed or the consignment note is not completed in full, it will not be accepted at the depot. The Transport company will refuse acceptance of the bike box.

How do I book this service?
If you live within a metropolitan area within your Capital City or Territory, please login to your HBA Around the Bay registration and select the Interstate Transport tab and follow the instructions.
How does it work?
In early October, we will mailout a letter detailing what you need to do. This will include a consignment note. What is a consignment note? It is a document required by transport company's where you need to complete your personal details in full and include the delivery address. Once this is completed it will need to be affixed to your bike box. We will provide you with a sample of a consignment note with the letter.
Once the bike is boxed and the consignment note is completed in full and affixed to the bike box all you need to do is drop the bike box off at the depot as detailed above for delivery to the event.
Our interstate bike transport offers you the ease of a Depot to Door Service. It as easy as registering and paying online and then boxing your bike at home and dropping it into our designated depot by no later than Friday 8 October 2010.
When you arrive at the start site at Alexandra Gardens, your bike will be there ready and waiting for you! After enjoying your challenge simply pack up your bike in to your bike box and complete another consignment note (affixing it to your bike box) at the finish site at Alexandra Gardens and we will deliver it back to your door.
Bikes will be delivered to your designated delivery address as early as 2 days to Sydney and Adelaide, 4 days to Brisbane and within 1 week to Perth.
Metropolitan Locations
If you live within a Metropolitan area within your Capital City you will be able to deliver your bike, pre boxed, to a Depot before the Ride. Your bike will then be transported to the start site and will be ready for you to collect.
Once you finish the Ride your bike box will be at Alexandra Gardens ready for you, so that you can pack your bike for the journey home.
After the event, your bike will be delivered back to your door!

Regional Locations
