Here's a simple rule to remember which direction to turn the 15mm Pedal Spanner
when removing pedals:

You must be very careful when you put the pedals back on at the Start of the Ride:

Getting your bike ready for Transport

To prepare your bike for transport, please loosen & turn your handlebars parallel to the bike & remove your pedals. See information on this page.

Remember to have your bike tools with you & ask for help.

Bicycle Victoria, its Volunteers and Contractors will take reasonable care with your bike. However, Bicycle Victoria does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage. Please protect your bike with bubble wrap and cardboard if you are concerned about damage. Remember to remove any items that might become dislodged in transit.
