If you live along the Rider Route for the Great Escapade, here is how you can get involved.
How to get involved
Do you live in or near one of the wonderful towns that is hosting the 2009 Great Escapade? Find out how to get involved.
The Classic Country Towns and Communities are a key part of the magic and excitement of the Great Escapade Journey. From kids playing their recorders or singing a song to welcome tired Riders home after a day on the road, to the smell of egg and bacon rolls in the morning - raising money for a local cause - the Local Communities really make the experience one to remember.
If you live in one of the towns that is going to host the 2009 Great Escapade - or nearby - find out how you and your Local Community Group can get involved, showcase your Town and Region to the Ride Participants and even raise some funds for your local charity.

For new ideas, see the Community Information Kit (PDF) in the panel on the right of this page. This is just a list of ideas of activities that have worked on past Rides. It is not exhaustive - we hope you can come up with some new ways to showcase your Region and welcome the Ride.
