Pemberton is a small town with the population of around 900 people, and has become a popular destination for holidaymakers, with its high quality accommodation and its award winning wineries, galleries and local tours. The Southern Forests in Western Australia's South West corner is turning into an eco tourism destination for forest adventurers from around the world.

The Wine & Truffle Co.
The Wine & Truffle Co. is one of the newest tourist attractions in the Manjimup / Pemberton Region, being the largest cultivator of the gourmet French black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum) in the southern hemisphere and producer of Truffle Hill premium fine wines.

Kangaroo Creek Chalets.....a place for all seasons

Pemberton Discovery Tours
Pemberton Discovery Tours is recognised nationally as an ecotourism operator; their ecotours take in the beauty of the old growth Karri Forest, Yeagarup Dune system; the largest landlocked sand dune system in the Southern Hemisphere, coastal heath forest and wild & breathtaking beach at the mouth of the Warren River. Small group tours are their specialty - with vehicles seating a maximum of 13 passengers and large groups welcome to experience an unforgettable day out. Pemberton Discovery Tours continue to provide an escape into the Warren and D'Entrecasteaux National Parks on their "Beach & Forest Offroad Adventure". This 4 hour ecotour departs daily at 9.00am or 2.00pm from the office at the Pemberton Discovery Shop and travels through the Yeagarup Dunes; the largest Land locked Sand Dune System in the Southern Hemisphere, through giant sections of old growth forest to the mouth of the Warren River.
"We take our clients through the inaccessible parts of the National Parks, where they wouldn’t normally be able to access in conventional two wheel drive or hire car vehicles" says Graeme Dearle, owner and tour guide. "With wildflowers flowering September through to November and the Salmon running in March to May, there is always something new to see or do on the tour". Pemberton Hiking & Canoeing
Pemberton Hiking & Canoeing offers interpretive tours down the Warren River and through the Warren, Gloucester and D'Entrecasteaux National Parks near Pemberton. Donnelly River Cruises
Donnelly River Cruises cruises down the Donnelly River. Enjoy a relaxed cruise from the Karri to the Coast. After a courtesy pick up, you will be escorted into the beautiful D’Entrecasteaux National Park, by air-conditioned bus, to begin your cruise on the unique Donnelly River. Meandering along the 12 km section, we will transverse a diverse eco system that is only accessible by boat. From the lush Jarrah and Karri forests, through the Paperbark and wetlands, to the limestone cliffs and majestic Southern Ocean. On the way we will cruise past the unique holiday huts nestled amongst the towering Marri trees and coastal dunes. Peter knows the river like the back of his hand and his 30 passenger boat ‘Gigetta’ is able to traverse the river year round. The Pemberton Tramway
The Pemberton Tramway operates daily from the Pemberton Railway Station for return services which meander through towering Karri, Marri and Jarrah forest, over trestle bridges spanning rivers and streams along one of Australia's most majestic rail lines. Trams run south to the Warren River Bridge. As you admire the breath taking view on the journey, your tram driver gives an informative commentary on the forest, the Tramway and the history of the region. All trams stop at the Cascades and the Warren River Bridge for you to alight and experience the feel of the forest.
