Push off – the ride has begun! Cycle along Caves Road, lookout over vineyard country. Expect to see a few wineries – see 20! A single lane road winds along fields and rolling valleys, a canopy of trees overhead. What’s that smell? Chocolate! Is there time to stop here? Make camp by the beach in Busselton.
Lunch Spot - Brookland Valley Winery
The gorgeous Brookland Valley Winery is generously hosting us for the Lunch Spot on Day 1.
100% pure Margaret River wines created from classic cultivars. Brookland Valley has earned the status as the most highly decorated winery in the region. Most recently as 'Winery of the Year' in the James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2009 Edition: "The quality and consistency of the wines is, quite literally, awesome." James Halliday
They have created a special wine order form for their delicious wines (that come highly recommended by our Rider Route Operations Team). The special offer is open until 12 April 2009.
