Day 8 - Lake Bolac to Beaufort
Saturday 6 December, 106kms
Big day, hit the 100km mark – and keep going! It’s the 106km challenge. Gentle, sloping hills keep the wheels rolling. Mountain views rise up ahead. It’s Grampians to the left, Mount Langi Ghiran to the right, and you, stuck in the middle… with several thousand cheerful bike riders!

Terrain: A long riding day, with an uphill trend. No big climbs, but a steady climb to Beaufort to get the muscles pumping.

Everyday was amazing, this was my favourite as it was an accomplishment, as i had never riden over 100km!! (Unknown, 2006)
