About the Sleep Easy Tent Accommodation Package
The 2008 Great Victorian Bike Ride passes through amazing landscapes and stays overnight at towns with great diversity. Despite the different landscapes within and around each town, you are guaranteed a space to pitch your tent and enjoy camping in new and exciting places.
However, we do realise that, just like our different campsites, people have different needs. If you would like to have some help with your tent, then you might choose to purchase a Sleep Easy Tent Accommodation Packages.
What is the Sleep Easy Tent Accommodation Package?
We'll provide you with a stand up tent and 2 comfy sleeping mats, which we'll set up each night and pack away each morning. We'll transport your tent and luggage in a separate van. The tent will fit two adults comfortably.
- Description of the tent: 9' x 9' (2.7m x 2.7m) canvas tent with a centre pole that stands 6' high
- Description of 2 mats: Mattress style - with waterproof covers. There are 2 mats available per tent.
- Luggage: You will need to collect your luggage from the designated luggage truck at each campsite and load it each morning.
Price: $450 per tent SOLD OUT
Note: Sleep Easy camping service begins in Rokewood on Saturday 29 November. You will need to make alternative arrangements if you would like to stay in Ballarat before the Ride.
Is Sleep Easy camping for you?
The benefits of the Sleep Easy Tent Accommodation Package are:
- You don't have to bring a tent.
- You don't have to bring a sleeping mat.
- There will be a designated space for you at each campsite.
- Your tent and luggage will be transported to the next campsite on a separate vehicle.
- We will set up and pack down your tent each day
This option is great for families with young kids, groups with special needs or for those who would rather enjoy being a part of it all instead of worrying about setting up camp.
Sleep Easy Tent Accommodation Packages are for the duration of the three 2008 Great Victorian Bike Ride and will not be offered on a daily rate. This option is not available on the Grampians Explorer.
