80km School Challenge
Celebrate the team spirit of the Around the Bay in a Day® 2008 - Get Sponsored for The Smith Family by being part of the 80km SchoolsChallenge! Your school has the chance to create history by being rewarded with a Perpetual Trophy to proudly display in recognition of outstanding participation.
- Big schools - more than 400 students and
- Small schools - less than 400 students.
*where the percentage of participation results are tied, the school with the largest number of participants will be declared the winner.

Corporate Ladder
Celebrate your workplace team spirit and get recognised for outstanding participation at the Around the Bay in a Day® 2008– Get Sponsored for The Smith Family. Keep up to-date with your workplace’s position on the Corporate Ladder which will be updated weekly on the Around the Bay in a Day® website.
A Perpetual Trophy will be presented to the workplace with the largest number of registered participants.

ATB 500
Perhaps endurance is not your thing – then here’s your chance to test your fast twitch fibres… How fast can you ride 500m? Come down to the Friday night Prologue at the Melbourne Cycling Festival (17 – 19 October) and enter the ATB 500.
Prizes will be awarded to the person who can ride 500m in the fastest time.
We will reward fastest time for each of the following age groups: 20+, 30+, 40+, and 50+
The Smith Family Industry Challenges
All teams who register for the 20008 Around the Bay in a Day – Get Sponsored for The Smith Family are automatically entered into the fundraising Industry Challenges. The team who raises the most amount of $$$ for The Smith Family in their particular category will win the inaugural annual trophy from The Smith Family.
