Route - 100km S-M

Code of Conduct

Riders are responsible for following all road rules and are expected to share the road with other users.  Riders must adhere to the Code of Conduct at all times.

Transport to Sorrento

Buses will leave St Kilda Road from 5am onwards, with the last bus expected to leave at approximately 6am. The buses will be leaving from the Bus Zone, opposite the Arts Centre on the southbound side of St Kilda Road (Mel 2F H7). *Subject to change. We will post a map on this page shortly.

Although it is not essential, you may wish to pre-pack your bike in a disposable (cardboard) bike box. All bikes will need to have both pedals removed (this is to protect other bikes when packing them onto the trucks), and handlebars turned parallel to the bike. Please remove any water bottles, lights or other removable objects, as they may dislodge in transit. There will be Volunteer Riding Marshals at Sorrento to help put pedals back on firmly.

Please Note:

We recommend that you loosen up your pedals and head stem prior to arriving, as this will speed up the loading progress and make it easier on the day.

Bookings for this service are available until 3 October.* Subject to change

Private Drop-offs to Sorrento

Road closures will be in place on Point Nepean Road from Hughes Road (Mel 157 F12).  We recommend that you use Melbourne Road if you are coming from Melbourne.  Riders can be dropped off on Melbourne and Hothams Roads.  Check the map for details.
