Introduction

Two of Victoria's iconic cycling events are coming together to create the Melbourne Cycling Festival. 

This massive celebration will bring together the Jayco Herald Sun Tour and the popular Aviva Investors Around the Bay in a Day® to create a cycling precinct in the centre of Melbourne.  At the heart of the Melbourne Cycling Festival will be the GO Bike Expo.

The Melbourne Cycling Festival will also feature the Go for your life Tour village and a range of fun activities alongside the competitive and participation cycling events.

Our venue at Alexandra Gardens* in the City of Melbourne allows us to maximise the exposure of GO Bike.  Aviva Investors Around the Bay in a Day® which draws over 14,000 participants, will finish alongside GO Bike.  In addition, the Jayco Herald Sun Tour will finish with a circuit race around the adjoining Gardens Precinct on Sunday 21 October.  The combination of events over the weekend will create a captivating occasion for all cycle enthusiasts and spectators.

Go Bike Expo aims to capture as many aspects of the “cycling world” as possible from racing, recreation, health, transport, clubs, tours, equipment/products and the environment. 

About GO Bike

All those who are involved in the cycling world are invited to exhibit at GO Bike.  GO Bike will be held over the weekend of 19-21 October, starting with a trade session from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 19 October.  GO Bike will then be open to the public from 10am to 5pm on 20-21 October.  Entry for the public is free and exhibitors are welcome to retail.
