The smiling Volunteers in the Information Tent have the answers to everyone's questions and if they don't, their role is to find out who does! This team is the focus point for queries about Ride Passports, Lost Property and the location of facilities on the campsite.
Volunteers work closely with the 2009 Great Escapade Sales Team to sell Ride Merchandise and keep the Ride Participants up-to-date with the activities of the local communities. A desire for knowledge and friendly personality are important for this Team.
Volunteers work one of two shifts each day, rotating between morning and afternoon shifts. The Happy Helpers Information Tent is open:
- 7:00am – 8:00am and 12:00 noon – 8:00pm on Riding Days
- 8:00am - 10:00am and 4:00pm - 8:00pm on Rider Rest Days
