About the Great Escapade
About this page
What is the Great Escapade? It's a nine to fourteen day bike riding holiday full of fun, friends and adventure ...
Since 1984, each November, the Great Victorian Bike Ride is held in a different part of Victoria. In the same way, Bicycle Victoria organises an annual Ride in late Summer to Autumn, outside of Victoria. We've explored Tasmania coast to coast, ridden past glaciers in New Zealand, breathed in the karri forests of Western Australia and tasted our way through the wine regions of South Australia to name a few. We've come up with a new way to explain all of these exciting bike riding adventures - the Great Escapade. We hope you like it!
