Come on our short escape and get a taste of the Ride. The Grampians Explorer is a four day cycling getaway, promising all the adventure of the Great Vic Bike Ride in one laughter-filled long weekend. Kick off the journey with dinner at Hall’s Gap – pitch your tent, grab some tucker and start meeting fellow riders. Hit the road, pedal 241km over three days surrounded by colourful cyclists and spectacular countryside. Uncover the grandeur of the mighty Grampians. Not a care in the world, we can even arrange transport for you. Grab your bike, hit the road and be a part of the fun.
There are two options for your Grampians Explorer Adventure.
Grampians Explorer Ride (only)
Includes:
- Meals - beginning Dinner on Thursday 4 December to Breakfast on Sunday 7 December 2008
- All facilities of a Great Victorian Bike Ride Campsite - Toilets, Showers, a space to camp, entertainment, licensed bars, food vendors etc.
- 3 spectacular days of supported riding from Halls Gap to Ballarat - 241kms
Grampians Explorer Transport Package
Includes all of the above, and:
- Transport from Melbourne and Ballarat to Halls Gap
- Transport from Ballarat to numerous regional destinations at the end of the Ride
- Or, access to the Ballarat Long Term Car Park
