Bicycle Network Victoria: Volunteers
Become a Volunteer
If you are able to offer your time, expertise and enthusiasm, then we would love to hear from you. We can link you up with local schools that require assistance, and there are plenty of other opportunities as well. Please do get in touch!
1. Express interest
Contact Georgie at Ride2School on georgief@bicyclenetwork.com.au or phone 03 8376 8888 to express your interest in registering as a volunteer.
2. We will contact you
Ride2School will contact you for an initial chat or meet and greet to check your suitability to the role/s.
3. Fill out documentation
Ride2School will arrange required paperwork and determine prerequisite qualifications and/or training (if applicable) to get you on board.
If you wish to work directly with schools and students, you will first have to pass a Working With Children Check (WWCC), selection process and reference checking to determine your suitability for specific roles. Working With Children Check does not apply for office based work. Under the Working with Children Act 2005, only people engaging in ‘child-related work’ must apply for and pass the Working with Children (WWC) Check.
