Bicycle Network Victoria: Ride to Work Day 2011

On Wednesday 12 October, over one hundred and fifty thousand Australian workers rode to work.

Ride to Work Day is the perfect opportunity for you to have a go at riding to work. Whether you are a new or existing commuter, by participating in Ride to Work Day and registering to make your ride count, you make an important contribution to building the case for better bike facilities in your community.

In 2010, more than 105,000 people participated in Ride to Work Day across Australia (three times as many as registered!). Five months later, 43% of those new registered riders were still riding to work.
