Ambassadors are senior managers who have made the commitment to:

• Make Ride to Work Day (12 October 2011) a date on the company calendar
• Promote it well in advance through the intranet and staff newsletter
• Organise a celebratory breakfast or encourage attendance at your local CBD breakfast

Other initiatives can include:

• Setting a target for participation at all work sites
• Award prizes for the site with the highest percentage of participants
• Invite other work contacts and friends to promote the event in their own organisation
• Promote the event through professional associations

You also have the option of being acknowledged on the Ride to Work web site and speaking to local media about your invovlement in promoting Ride to Work in your company.
