New Member of the Week - October 25 2011

Meet Bronwyn from New Town. Bicycle Tasmania’s newest member of the week. She enjoys riding to work and around Hobart, especially out to MONA on the Intercity Cycleway.

Bike of the Week

If this dog could ride a bike she’d be riding this cruiser spotted near Burnie on the North West Coast of Tasmania.

This rather elegant machine with custom handle bars can often be seen showing up to bicycle related events on the North West Coast. Rumor has it that the rider even dons a ‘bikie’ like helmet and boots which seem to create an invisibility shield whenever he pulls up next to someone on a Harley at the lights!
