Sleep Easy packages

Have a volunteer find your camping spot, set up and pack down your tent during your Great Escapade New Zealand.

We'll take the worry out of finding your camping spot!
We'll set up a tent for you each night and pack it away each morning.
We'll also transport your tent and luggage in a separate van!

Members who entered the ride during the member pre-sale week will have first right of refusal to purchase Sleep Easy Tents.*

Sleep Easy Tent

Comfortably fitting two adults, we'll provide you with a modern and waterproof tent and two comfortable sleeping mats, which we'll set up each night and pack away each morning in a convenient location on the campsite. We'll also transport your tent and luggage in a separate van and drop them off nearby to your tent. No more walking across the campsite with your bags trying to find a location to set up!

Description of the tent: to be advised, we are in the process of investigating a new set of tents
Description of 2 mats: Mattress style - with waterproof covers. There are two mats available per tent.
Luggage: You will need to collect your luggage from the designated luggage truck at each campsite and load it each morning.

Price: $500 - 9 Days / $550 - 10 Days (including Friday night in Gisborne).
For those sleep easy riders who do not book accomodation in Taupo or leave Taupo on the final ride day, we will arrange for a tent to be available in Taupo (although this will not be an official campsite)

About the Sleep Easy Packages

The Great Escapade New Zealand passes through amazing landscapes and stays overnight at towns with great diversity. Despite the different landscapes within and around each town, you are guaranteed a space to pitch your tent and enjoy camping in new and exciting places.

However, we do realise that just like our different campsites, people have different needs. If you would like to have some help with your tent, then you might choose to purchase one of our Sleep Easy Packages.

There will be a designated space for you at each campsite
Your tent and luggage will be transported to the next campsite on a separate vehicle
We will set up and pack down your tent each day

Sleep Easy Packages are great for families with young kids, groups with special needs or for those who would rather enjoy being a part of it all instead of worrying about setting up camp.
