What is Pre-Ride Camping?

Pre-Ride camping is available for riders wishing to arrive in Swan Hill early, in which we provide you a place to camp. Pre-Ride Camping opens to riders on the Friday before the start of the Ride.
 

Where is Pre-Ride Camping?

Pre Ride Camping is at the Swan Hill Campsite located at the Swan Hil Showgrounds/Alan Garden Reserve. This is located on Pritchard Street. Here is a google map of campsite.

How do I book?

Please select the Free Pre-Ride Camping Option by logging onto Blink. Remember, you have until 2 November when you will no longer be able to change your options.

What do I do when I arrive? 

The Campsite will open at 12noon on Friday 25 November for Pre-Ride Campers.

• If you are arriving to Swan Hill on Thursday, please ensure that you book accomodation for the Thursday night as you will not have access to the Campsite. If you arrive Friday am, please go grab a coffee or enjoy what Swan Hill has to offer until the Campsite opens.
   
• If arriving by coach, please listen carefully to the directions given by one of our staff or volunteers when you arrive. They will instruct you in which area of the Campsite you are able to pitch your tent. Remember that where you pitch your tent on Friday, is the spot where you will be camping for both Friday and Saturday evenings.
   
• If arriving by private vehicle, please follow the signs, listen to volunteers or locate the Bicycle Network Victoria Information Tent for information on where you can put your tent up.

Once your tent is up, please feel free to enjoy what the Swan Hill Community have to offer!

Will there be food available at Pre-Ride Camping?

There will be various community food and drink stalls on Friday afternoon and evening. These may also be a few Ride Vendors set up for you to purchase food and drink. We strongly encourage you to head into town to enjoy what the community has on offer.

Will there be water available at Pre-Ride Camping?

Yes, there will be water available on the Campsite. Please remember to drink lots of water in preparation for the Ride. There will also be toilets available on the Campsite.
 

Will there be toilets and showers available at Pre-Ride Camping?

There will be toilets available at pre-ride camping. However, there will be no showers.

What do I do on Saturday?

The route will open at 9.00am and close at 12.30pm on Saturday 26 November.
