Day 1 - Swan Hill

Day 1: Saturday 26th November. Located on the banks of the Murray River at the heart of a fertile agricultural region, Swan Hill is enriched with pioneer history and is a great destination for outdoor activities and good food and wine.

Day 2 - Kerang

Day 2: Sunday 27th November. The town of Kerang is located 25 kilometres inland from the Murray River. Kerang is situated within an irrigation district and is well known for producing grain and vegetable crops.

Day 3 - Barham

Day 3: Monday 28th November. The town of Barham is located on the banks of the Murray River and is populated by 1,250 people.

Day 4 & 5 - Echuca

Day 4 & 5: Tuesday 29th & Wednesday 30th November. Echuca was first surveyed in 1854 and is the closest Murray River settlement to Melbourne.

Day 6 - Boort

Day 6: Thursday 1st December. Located 252 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, in the Mallee Region, this small town lies on the shores of Lake Boort.

Day 7 - Wedderburn

Day 7: Friday 2nd December A quiet rural town which was once a very populous and rich gold mining settlement.

Day 8 - Maryborough

Day 8: Saturday 3rd December. Centrally located in the heart of Victoria, between Ballarat and Bendigo, Maryborough is an ideal base to explore the rich history of the region.

Day 9 - Castlemaine

Day 9 - Finale: Sunday 4th December. Castlemaine is a former gold mining town which now boasts a thriving agricultural, arts and tourism industry.
