With the generous support of Bupa Around the Bay riders The Smith Family aims to raise $1.2M to help provide disadvantaged kids the educational, mentoring and financial support they need to create better futures for themselves.

Registration fees go to Bicycle Network Victoria to run the event and get More People Cycling More Often. The Smith Family will only receive donations if riders take on the challenge to get friends, family and colleagues to sponsor their ride so please ride for a reason to help disadvantaged Aussie kids.

Rider sponsorship and fundraising directly supports The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program which gives disadvantaged kids the assistance they need to develop vital life skills, stay engaged in their education and have the best chance to realise their potential.

The Smith Family helps all riders to fundraise. You have your own online fundraising page, automated emails to send to friends, family and colleagues as well as fundraising tools, ideas and material to help you seek support. Simply log-in to your fundraising page, choose an email explaining why you’ve decided to ride for a reason, connect your supporters and hit send.

Riders and sponsors can be confident they are supporting one of Australia’s most trusted and well known charities. The Smith Family has been supporting Australian children since 1922 and last year Learning for Life supported more than 126,000 Australians.
