A critical missing link which is only 500 metres long and yet is the only obstacle for a large part of the north east community to be able to connect to the rest of the bicycle network
Critical missing link desperately needs to connect
June 2010 A missing 500 metres of path with an available easement and a huge number of riders ready to ride is a top priority for the north east.
This would provide the missing element to connect the community north of the Ring Road and to the east out to Diamond Creek into the rest of the bicycle network. This link could provide a car-free ride from Diamond Creek Rd, past the Reservoir zone 1 station, all the way to Melbourne University and the inner metropolitan area.
