Road duplication project gets path
22 September 2008. As part of the Mickleham Rd upgrade, VicRoads has also put a 2.4km long, three metre-wide concrete shared path in Greenvale between Barrymore and Somerton roads.
This will be welcome to riders on what, traditionally, has been a busy truck route and still carries high volumes of traffic in this fast-growing area of Melbourne.
In 2007/08 VicRoads invested and estimated $10.8m as part of major projects beyond the bicycle funding program.
