Bicycle Network Victoria believes that the path should be upgraded to meet current path standards.
New bridge links Yarra Trail to Diamond Creek Trail
Jun 04 Manningham and Nillumbik councils have completed a new pedestrian/cycle bridge over the Yarra to link the Main Yarra Trail with the Diamond Creek Trail, downstream from where Diamond Creek joins the Yarra.
Previously cyclists had to use the Fitzsimmons Lane road bridge which offered a low level of service. The new bridge will provide better access to Eltham Lower Park and Candlebark Park.
