LAAP funding

The Department of Infrastructure has a new funding pool, the Local Area Access Program (LAAP) to stimulate councils to focus on infrastructure barriers that are often 'lost inside the bigger grid'. For a rider the Principle Bicycle Network and the Metropolitan Trail Network may not always service their need to get to key activity centres.

Parks Victoria - The Metropolitan Trail Network

Parks Victoria are a State Government agency that reports to the Department of Sustainability and Environment. Their main role in building bike facilities comes through funding the Metropolitan Trail Network

Regional Growth Fund

The Victorian Government has released its plans for funding regional infrastructure - the $1 billion Regional Growth Fund. The Coalition's fund is meant to support regional development over the next eight years.
