Rick Barry

Rick Barry was elected to the Bicycle Network Victoria Board in 2007. He is a currently a member of the Remuneration Committee as well as the Co-opted Board Members and Election Process working groups.

Rick has over 20 years management and governance experience in the community sector.

Rick has studied both Astrophysics (BS Astronomy/BS Physics) and International and Intercultural Management at a Masters level.

He has held leadership positions on the boards of community organisations, including being the President of a community kindergarten board for two years and is currently on the Board of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. He also served on the selection panel for the board of a newly established volunteer resource centre.

Rick's passion for bike riding began as a child. This passion grew with the continuous benefits - social, recreational, fitness and environmental motives; that Rick discovered went hand in hand with riding a bike.
