The Rat Race arrives in Australia from Europe - a cutting edge adventure sports challenge that uses the city as its playground and is open to all levels of ability. In Australia for the first time, the Rat Race sees teams of three running, biking, climbing, kayaking, abseiling and navigating their way around the city in a course that is only revealed hours before they begin. Saturday - the Mean Streets Prologue - 5pm to 8pm - quick, exhilirating and extremely entertaining. A foot based event, where teams collect as many checkpoints as they can in 3 hours. The Rat Race Adventure - Saturday night and all day Sunday - Mean Streets Prologue, then Sunday embark on an adventure city-wide, taking you at least 70km all over Melbourne – by bike, boat, foot and rope!
