Around the Bay in a Day® is Australia's premier mass participation bike ride. Leading into its sixteenth year, the event is experiencing significant growth, with over 14,000 riders participating in 2007. Riders taking part in the challenge also have the opportunity to go the extra mile and raise money for official charity partner The Smith Family. At the conclusion of the ride, there are a number of free activities at the Alexandra Gardens Start/Finish Site including live music and entertainment, roving entertainers, corporate hospitality, food and beverage facilities, and sponsor displays and giveaways.
