The East Gippsland Rail Trail is an iconic off-road cycling experience. Starting at Howitt Park on the Mitchell River in Bairnsdale, the Rail Trail travels 100km through beautiful farmland and the pristine Colquhoun forest to Orbost. Wilderness Bike Ride Association is pleased to launch the inaugural B2O Rail Trail Epic. The Epic is not a race but a challenge event for cyclists of all ages and abilities who enjoy escaping traffic and riding in the wilderness. The Epic begins at 9:00am at Howitt Park and finishes at Forest Park in Orbost. The Epic is fully supported, features four ride options and a choice of cycling for one, two or three days. Cyclists will require reasonable bike-fitness and a bike suitable for offroad.
