Cycling has long been one of Belgium’s favourite sports and with that in mind, the Belgian Beer Café Cycling Club was formed. Established in January 2004 by a group of cycling and Belgian culture enthusiasts, the breakfast club’s aim is to bring the European social experience surrounding the sport of cycling to Melbourne. Among the events included on the club’s social calendar are the Australia Day Music and Cycling Festival, monthly complimentary breakfasts held on the last Saturday of each month and Tour de France big screen live broadcasts.
