Just because this is a good idea, doesn’t mean it will get the support of government
We will need your voice, your influence and your vote.
You can support this vision by riding your bike to work and encouraging your company to provide for bike riders.
If you have a senior position in a company you can help others to ride to work by supporting the provision of parking, showers and company incentives.
If you are an elected Councillor, State or Federal member you can lobby your party to get behind the vision and commit funds to make it happen
As a citizen you can write in support of projects that are part of this effort and take part in the public debate that will surely follow the effort to build the network.
You can tell your friends about the plan. Bicycle Victoria members will get a free copy of this map and we are happy to provide you with more copies to hand to others. The information is all available at www.quickeasycheap.com.au. Encourage them to become members so that we have greater influence with government. Encourage them to ride. Sometimes all people need is to do it once. Maybe you could ride with them one morning or try out their route to work with them on a weekend.
