- Against a perimeter fence
- Internally in a larger bike parking compound

- Concrete ceiling no more than 3500mm
- Each span to be no more than 2600mm
- 10 bikes per span if double sided
- 5 bikes per span if single sided
Oxfam Australia
Oxfam required maximum bike parking capacity at their new inner Melbourne headquarters.
To achieve this we used single sided framing against a non load bearing plasterboard wall providing parking for 17 bikes. In addition framing was located in the centre of the space providing parking for a further 26 bikes. Ned Kelly rails were attached to both sides of this framing.
Had we not used custom framing in this situation, capacity would have been limited to 24 bike parking spaces all on ground mounted bike parking rails. We were able to increase capacity by 79%.
