Bicycle Victoria have created an online survey you can use to find out what the riders at your workplace want.
Riding to work
To assist your workplace Bicycle Victoria has designed an online survey that can be used to identify changes that would encourage your fellow employees to get on their bikes and ride to work.
A number of factors have a direct effect on whether an employee rides to work or not including:
- The quality of the bike parking facility (Will riders have to jam their bikes in? Will the racks damage the wheels?)
- Security of the bikes in the bike parking facility (Will people be able to get in and steal the bikes?)
- Signs directing riders (Will riders be able to find the bike parking?)
- Ease of access (Is there space in the car park for people to ride?)
Which factors affect your workplace?
The hard part is trying to find out from your co-workers which of these factors have the greatest effect on their decision to ride to work.
All you need to do is contact the Bike Parking Experts and we can set up an online survey specific to your workplace. You can then send a link to your fellow workers asking them to fill out the survey. Once completed, we can forward you the results so you can address any issues.
