Aug02. Bicycle Victoria met with Shire staff to look at improvements for cycling in Halls Gap, a popular holiday destination plagued by traffic congestion in the summer.
Northern Grampians Shire adopted a draft Bicycle Path Strategy in 2001 anda strategic bicycle path along the Grampians Tourist Rd from Bellfield to Pomonal Rd was identified. This will allow people to move about Halls Gap by bicycle. Council is applying for funding to complete the project.
