Brimbank Bicycle Strategy
Jul 06 Brimbank Council have this year budgeted to review their Bicycle Strategy to help further improve cycling in their municipality. Taylors Rd Railway Grade Separation
Aug 05 VicRoads are preparing tender documents for a grade separation of Taylor’s Road over the Watergardens Railway line in Keilor Downs. It is currently envisaged that the train will be elevated over the road, with the large roundabout through which train currently cross to be removed.
Bicycle Victoria is working with VicRoads to ensure that both an on-road and off-road bike facility is included in this project to ensure commuter cyclists have access to Sunshine Ave and onto the city and that shorter trips to local shopping and recreational centres in the area (especially for younger families and children) are also catered for on a shared use path.
Integrated Transport Strategy
Jul 03 Brimbank's proposed Integrated Transport Strategy should include provision for cyclists.
Bicycle projects that we consider to be high priority include:

- St Albans Rd
- Furlong Rd
- Station Rd
- Taylors Rd
- Robinsons Rd
