In Victoria the education and enforcement plans are encapsulated in Arrive Alive.
The Victorian Governnment launced Arrive Alive its road safety strategy in December 2007. Bicycle Victoria was not consulted on the strategy.
Comment from the action plan
‘The First Action Plan will implement the Safe System approach to reduce cyclist's deaths and injuries, including investing in significant infrastructure improvements and extending Victoria’s network of arterial cycling routes.
