Adults personalised (one to one) Learn to Ride Program
Jika Jika Community Centre has a learn to ride program specifically for adults. Training is conducted by a qualified trainer.
The training is conducted near the centre.
The learn to ride program is 1:1 training (i.e. trainer and participant). It is not designed for groups. The program consists of 3 sessions and, in total, is 5 hours duration. It is conducted over 3 weeks. Because the training is 1:1, dates and times are arranged between the trainer and participant.
It is preferred that participants own a bike, however it may be possible to loan a bike for the 3 sessions through the centre. Participants would need to confirm this with the centre.

Mountain Bikes skills clinics
Based in the old timber town of Forrest in the Otway Ranges, south of Geelong, Jess and Norm Douglas run their MTB Skills clinics in various locations around Victoria, on average one per month on weekends.
The teaching is simple; they have established 4 main elements to learning correct technique on a mountain bike and these are all linked to having an understanding to how your weight affects the handling of the bike on ANY terrain. From there it is just practising these techniques on varied trails and obstacles. EASY!
